The questions that advisers often ask about being Independent tend to fall into groups around: clients process, and regulator. Do my clients really care whether I'm independent? Yes they do!! In independent research, when asked what advice services people wanted, almost all respondents rejected non-independent advice, mainly because they wanted advice across the whole market.
