The quiet summer period has now officially passed by and a whole host of interesting new issues and debates is now filling the pages of the adviser media world. Among these, two key issues seem to dominate the financial landscape: namely RDR and the government’s review of the current pension regime, with a specific focus on the issue of compulsory annuitisation. Although the RDR has been covered extensively, the AIFA landmark study on Financial Planning through Retirement definitely deserves some further consideration.
