Cancer Research UK Guernsey has received nearly £20,000 as a result of the fundraising efforts of staff and partners at Channel Islands law firm Ogier. Cancer Research UK Jersey received the same amount, raised by Ogier during 2006/2007. Partners at the firm matched the funds raised by staff to arrive at the total figure. Claire Cairns of Cancer Research UK Guernsey said: "The staff and partners of Ogier have been most generous in donating their money and time to benefit our cause.
