This is a fund which should appeal to investors with a medium to long-term time horizon. The manager attempts to identify the unloved and distressed and waits patiently for catalysts to become apparent. Assets will typically be purchased at deep discounts to their intrinsic value and the realisation of that value will manifest itself over a period of months or years.
