Average house prices in Guernsey continued to rise strongly into the final quarter of 2007, with prices up 8.9% in the final three months of the year, according to data released by the States of Guernsey. In a volatile year, the final quarter's growth more than wiped out losses in the first six months, and when added to the good performance achieved after the summer, the overall picture is firmly positive.
