With more Islamic products arriving in the marketplace and changing attitudes in the Muslim world, the coming years could see a surge in growth. Tiffany Hancock reports on the region's investment future.

The growth of the Islamic asset management industry in recent years has been incredible, and analysts are estimating that it could continue to grow between 15-25% per year. One indication of this is that MSCI Barra is now developing a global family of Islamic indices. Until recently it would have been a struggle to find 500 Islamic products to produce an index from, now there are more and more coming to the market every day.
