Alliance & Leicester International has launched an account for intermediaries with high net worth clients and in particular clients who are moving abroad or planning for retirement and specifically require a tax efficient savings tool. The International Deferred Interest Account (IDIA) accrues interest on a daily basis, but the interest is only paid out upon closure of the account, delaying the taxable event. Customers can therefore use the account as a long term planning tool such as for moving abroad or for retirement. The minimum deposit is £10,000 and the maximum is £5m. The ac...
