Offshore banking has long been the Cinderella of the banking world. For those working in the sector, the market seems to have no limits - a level of enthusiasm recently reflected in the IPPR report Brits Abroad, which paints a picture of significant numbers of UK expatriates joining the four million plus who already live abroad. The IPPR report suggests that the numbers leaving the UK shows no sign of lessening so, on the face of it, the future for offshore banking and associated services seems healthy.
