Market sentiment in Hong Kong is improving. Better relations between Hong Kong and mainland China have led to more money flowing out of China and into Hong Kong. Furthermore, the postponement of regulation thought to be against freedom of speech has also caused some improvement in the economy and Hong Kong is now showing signs of stabilisation. Meanwhile, the property market is no longer in the doldrums and investors have been taking profits from Chinese companies on the Hong Kong stock exchange and should start to benefit from domestic plays in the market.
