The judging panel was looking for a product that met investors' needs for value for money, fund choice, technical support and innovation. In a tightly contested category the panel members were particularly impressed with Royal Skandia's Collective Investment bond. The breadth of fund choice stood out as did the ability to link an offshore bank account to the bond, designed for those living in countries with unstable banking systems.
