In a competitive environment, offshore jurisdictions are constantly vying to be ahead of the pack and Jersey is no exception. Having introduced its Expert Fund Regime in 2005, aimed at institutional and more knowledgeable investors, the island is now moving even further down this path, with the introduction of a funds platform allowing unregulated funds for certain types of investors.
