Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a disease of the nervous system that can cause a number of symptoms, including visual problems, muscle weakness and balance problems. It can also cause difficulties with co-ordination and speech, severe fatigue, numbness, pins and needles, aches and pains, concentration and memory problems, as well as problems with bowel and bladder control.
