TMT Funds investing in companies with good cash reserves were able to better weather the storm but all funds underperformed
It has been a difficult five years for the TMT global sector. Every fund in the sector has lost money for its investors. Those that managed to crawl to the top of the tables were those invested in companies with good cash reserves, which were better able to survive the bursting of the TMT bubble. One of the top performers was the Robeco Media Equities portfolio. This fund was the sector's third-best performing fund over five years, according to Standard & Poor's.
