The Credit Suisse Total Return fund has only been running for a short period of time, but is the offspring of a three-year old targeted return strategy developed for institutional clients. It uses a multi-strategy investment approach and can invest in traditional government bonds, high-grade credit, high-yield, emerging debt, convertibles and cash.
