Annualised house price inflation has been cut in two over the past month after house prices fell nationally, according to latest figures from the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister.
Average house prices rose in June to £173,756 compared with £170,719 in May, according to the lastest house price statistics from the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (OPDM).
First-time buyers are likely to find it even tougher to get onto the property ladder at present as the latest house price inflation index from the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister suggests property prices have grown 12.2% in the last 12 months.
