A financial adviser who was terminated from the Quilter Financial Planning network has started what appears to be a claims management company.

Last month, Professional Adviser revealed Daniel Thomas, who was a director at Bridgend-based firm DPT Financial Solutions - a former appointed representative of Quilter Financial Planning - had been terminated by the network after failing to properly follow its processes. Thomas is now listed as ‘inactive' on the Financial Services register. Beals Mortgage and Financial Services, another appointed representative of Quilter, has since taken over the servicing of Thomas's clients.
