More to be done on our gender pay gap - Quilter

Slight improvement since 2017

Quilter has seen its gender pay gap improve slightly over the last two years but the firm admitted there is more to be done to make the business more equal.

The mean pay gap has reduced in the last year - from 39% to 35%, according to figures from the firm. The median pay gap (29%) and the average mean bonus gap (70%) have, however, remained constant. In 2017, Quilter set a minimum target to make its "senior management community" at least 35% - and "ideally" 40% - female, by the end of 2020. So far it has improved its executive to 21% female, up from 8% in 2017, and its wider senior management is now 34% female.
