Elevate's top-paid employees 70% male

Men made up seven in 10 (70%) of Standard Life's Elevate top quartile employees, according to the platform's gender pay gap figures.

Women also made up less than two-fifths (37%) of Elevate's upper middle quartile employees, according to figures published on the gov.uk website. However, women made up nearly two-thirds (64%) of the lower middle quartile and nearly three-fifths (57%) of the lower quartile. In terms of hourly pay, women on average earned more than a quarter (27%) less on an hourly basis. Bonus pay for women working at the platform was also more than a half (56%) lower than for men, yet a similar number of men and women received bonuses - 97% versus 96% respectively.
