Succession snaps up advice firm for £3m

National advice firm Succession has bought Reading-based adviser Finch Financial Services for £3m, marking the completion of its 12th acquisition.

Succession plans to purchase the 50 best advice businesses from among its member firms. The national is 'vertically integrated', meaning it controls its own advice, platform and fund management activities. Finch was established in 1971, and is led by managing partner Paul Finch and Nigel Bull. The firm joined Succession in 2012. Finch said: "Joining Succession as a member delivered immediate benefits to clients.
