Insight expands Asian property

INSIGHT Investment's multi-manager team has further increased its Asian property exposure through investment across several portfolios in Speymill Macau Property Company.

The residential property investment trust will take advantage of the booming gaming industry and associated economic benefits it is bringing to the island, the fund manager said. It becomes the fifth Asian/ Japanese property fund in which Insight has invested. The fund of funds manager is one of the largest investors in the trust, with a 3.4pc position in the £81m Diversified Target Return (DTR) fund, 2.7pc in the £72m Wealthbuilder Balanced portfolio, 2.6pc in the £69m Global Dynamic Managed and 9.2pc in the £1m Asia Pacific portfolio.
