Yerbury to step down as CEO at Invesco Perpetual

Bob Yerbury is to cede his position as chief executive officer of Invesco Perpetual with James Robertson taking over the mantle.

Currently senior managing director at Invesco, Robertson will assume Yerbury's responsibilities from September. Invesco asserted that this move forms part of a long-term strategy anticipating Yerbury's eventual retirement over the next few years. Whilst Yerbury will desist from his duties as chief executive officer, he will continue in his role as chief investment officer and with his fund management responsibilities.
