The Personal Finance Society (PFS) has reported a leap in the number of registered chartered financial planners, up to more than 1,500, including an increase of nearly 500 in the past 12 months.
The PFS asserted that the title, introduced in 2005, is now an internationally recognisable benchmark of quality and ethical practice for financial services professionals. It is regarded as the highest and most prestigious level of professional achievement for people working within the industry.
