Standard Life launches discretionary wealth business

Standard Life has launched a discretionary investment management business, Standard Life Wealth.

The business offers clients investment techniques previously only available to institutional investors in Standard Life investment funds. Customers need at least £2m of assets, which must include a minimum liquidity of £1m. The provider targets the business at individuals, charities and small or executive pension schemes. Clients can also access Standard Life Wealth via the Standard Life SIPP and offshore bond. Standard Life Wealth requires a fee of 1.375% of assets under management.
