In the UK the FTSE 100 Index has gained 13.8 points to 4937.1 points in its morning session.
A survey from Bank of England reveals that UK inflation expectations are lowest since 2003. Broadcasting firm, BSkyB is up 12p to 575.50p. Retail firm Gus, is also up 13p to 918p, while mining firms Xstrata and BHPBilliton have increased 13.50p to £10.42 and 9p to 765.50p respectively. On the other end of the chart, International Power lost 4.25p to 181p, while Morrison Supermarkets is still feeling the effects after a further cut in its profit forecast.
