Investment and Financial Advice (IFAQ) is the name of the Securities Institute's new QCA-accredited qualification aimed at IFAs.
The qualification builds on a retail syllabus developed by the Financial Services Skills Council, which replaces the SI’s current Investment Advice Certificate. Covered by the syllabus are: UK financial services, regulation and ethics, investment and risk, retirement planning and protection, investment and financial advice. Candidates will be tested using pre-published case studies, covering different client scenarios.
