Compass points FTSE in wrong direction

Contract catering group Compass leads the drop to the tune of 5% or 12.75p, closing at 241.5p, after the firm issued out its second profit warning in six months. Smith & Nephew has shed 24.5p or 4.6% to 497.5p, after it received a subpoena from a US attorney's office in a probe into agreements between replacement knee and hip makers and surgeons.
