Small gain has FTSE Yelling

In the UK the FTSE 100 Index has started cautiously, adding about 4 points to 5274.60, led by Yell Group.

The internet search engine has climbed 9p to 448.5p, after it announced an 11.6% rise in first-quarter turnover, adding it is on track to meet full-year expectations. Logistics firm Exel has picked up 13.5p to 952.5p, while Cadbury Schweppes is up 7.5p to 549.5p, after it said first-half profit increased 6.1%. On the losing end, Reuters has lost 15.75p or 4% to 396.5p, after its announced net income for the first six months dropped £133m from £303m a year earlier. British Airways is down 3.25p to 271.25p.
