Pensions trustees, administrators and advisers have been issued with new guidelines to blowing the whistle on wrong-doings affecting occupational pension schemes.
The Occupational Pensions Regulatory Authority says its new traffic light systems of red, amber and green classed legal breaches should make it easier for people to decide whether to contact the regulator on a matter of alleged law breaking. OPRA plans a series of half-day roadshows to further explain the new guidance, with meetings in Birmingham on 19th May, London on 25th May, and Edinburgh on 28th May. The meetings include workshops based on case studies, and the presentations will be filmed and be available on OPRA’s website. IFAonline
