New research has revealed 23 global private banks have reached $100bn in assets under management.
Produced by UK-based specialist research and information provider PAM (Private Asset Managers), the 2007 Global Wealth Management Rankings rate the power and influence of the world’s leading wealth management institutions. The rankings show Merrill Lynch and UBS are the dominating forces in the global private banking, managing over $1.6trn of assets at the end of 2006. Citigroup completes the trillion dollar club, with $1.44trn of assets.
