UK equity income is favourite ISA sector - survey

Six out of ten IFAs believe the UK equity income sector will dominate sales in the 2004 ISA season, suggests a survey by JP Morgan Fleming.

Interestingly - and bearing in mind last year’s sales - the global bond sector is predicted to fall to last place in the popularity stakes, as just 18% of the 260 IFAs surveyed expecting this sector to be the most popular with consumers. That said, the corporate bond sector retains its lure, with almost half of those surveyed saying they expect these products to be the most popular in coming weeks.
