London & Capital yesterday announced its assets under management have hit $3bn, almost doubling from $1.6bn in 2005.
The firm says continued demand for its products has also led to the hiring of 20 new staff in the last quarter. London & Capital cites the success of its multi-asset strategies, with a strong emphasis on diversifying across alternative investments, as the driving force behind the company’s growth. The client mix at the firm is now 80% private client portfolios and 20% institutional mandates. Recent significant off-market deals include a $210m portfolio from German state insurer Provinzial, as well as the acquisition of a long-leasehold interest in City Square Liverpool from Close Investm...
