Reuters heralds bad news for FTSE

The FTSE 100 Index is down 3.5 points at 5,868.9 points this morning, led by global news and information provider Reuters Group.

Shares in Reuters Group have fallen 8.14% to 414.50p after Citigroup said in a note the numbers and outlook were disappointing. Defence company BAE Systems is another top faller, dropping 2.07% to 438p after reporting a bigger-than-expected pension deficit, despite results meeting expectations. Meanwhile, shares in Capita are topping the list of FTSE 100 risers, adding 2.44% to 451.25p after it posted a near-20% rise in full-year profit.
