AXA and Winterthur Wealth Management have made the first senior appointment to its new investment company.
Ian Colquhoun has been hired as managing director, commercial operations UK, to run the new business, which will be established as a separate company under AXA UK. The yet-to-be-named company will launch in early 2008 and aims to “redefine the way funds are structured, managed and delivered to clients through the use of innovative, market leading solutions”. It says it will, in phase one, provide innovative manager of manager solutions to internal businesses within AXA.
