The pest control firm advanced 4.25p to 162.75p, after Irish investor Gerry Robinson confirmed he is in talks with management and investors in his bid to make an offer for the firm. Hotel chain the Hilton Group has also picked up 7.25p to 317.25p, after an 8.1% increase to 335p on its share price target by analysts. Pharmaceuticals firm AstraZeneca advanced 52p to 2531p, along with a 12p increase to 622p for BP on the back of climbing oil prices.
