American Express has signed a deal to incorporate the funds of US-based Dimensional Fund Advisors into its wrap platform for IFAs.
This initiative builds onto a wrap model being developed by Amex, which last month announced a deal to provide financial advisers with access to all 4,000 UK funds from 266 providers, along with some 900 funds on which Amex has negotiated discounts, coupled with data from Standard & Poor’s. Dimensional provides a UK fund range focusing on small cap and value, relying on academic research to complement its portfolio "engineering" and trading.
