Advisers will get the opportunity to grill leading fund managers, including Jupiter's Philip Gibbs, at the upcoming Cofunds spring conference.
The PLATFORM conference will be held in Bristol on 10 March, where advisers will be able to put questions to fund managers in sessions chaired by Brian Tora of the Tora Partnership.
Gibbs' presence will be one of the highlights of the conference. He had the most successful launch on the Cofunds platform last year with the Jupiter International Financials fund. He is also manager of the Jupiter Absolute Return fund.
Other fund managers attending include Jason Britton from T. Bailey and Newton's Iain Stewart.
Gordon Davidson, joint managing director of Jupiter unit trust managers, says the PLATFORM is a good opportunity for advisers to hear Philip's views and tackle him on market issues.
"The launch of Philip's two new funds has attracted a significant amount of attention at a time when macroeconomic factors are having a huge impact on the performance of stockmarkets," he says.
"Philip's reputation for correctly anticipating market trends and the flexibility of the UCITs III structure means the funds have the potential to deliver returns for investors, regardless of market conditions."
Other speakers at the event include: Richard Romer-Lee (OBSR), David Roberts (Aegon), Shawn Mato (Aviva Investors) and James Wilkinson (Thames River Capital).
