Financial advisers in Scotland are being invited to an FSA-hosted seminar on the Retail Distribution Review (RDR).
The event, which will be held in Edinburgh on 15 January, will include a keynote speech from FSA retail managing director Jon Pain and a panel discussion.
Proposals outlined in the RDR include the controversial introduction of 'sales advice', a minimum qualification level for advisers, a shift towards fee-based advice, and new capital adequacy requirements for firms, networks and nationals.
