Key fund managers from firms including Threadneedle, Thames River and Old Mutual Asset Management are set to travel the UK delivering seminars for advisers.
The ‘Fund Solutions Seminars’, which will bring together the likes of Gary Potter, Robert Burdett, Richard Plackett and Matthew Cox, will take place between September 24 and 28.
Other firms taking part will be UBS Global Asset Management and BlackRock Merrill Lynch Investment Managers.
Organisers say the range of asset classes covered in each seminar will give delegates a “comprehensive update to current thinking” across the investment spectrum.
They add the differences in investment style and market outlook between the managers should generate lively debate at the question and answer sessions following the presentations.
Don Jordison is manager of the Threadneedle UK Property Trust, Robert Burdett and Gary Potter are co-heads of the Thames River Capital multi-manager team, Matthew Cox is manager of the UBS UK Select fund, Andrew Tunks and Chris Higham are joint managers of the Old Mutual Dynamic bond fund, and Richard Plackett runs the BlackRock Merrill Lynch UK Special Situations fund.
