The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has announced Nick Prettejohn, chief executive at Prudential Assurance, UK & Europe, is to join the advisory board of its recently formed Faculty of Life and Pensions.
The faculty, which was launched in March, is says the CII designed to help companies drive up standards of professionalism and good practice in the industry.
The advisory board of senior industry leaders – chaired by CII president Peter Hales – is helping to shape the strategy of the faculty and ensure the CII’s qualifications, competency and learning solutions are tailored to the needs of the life and pensions industry.
Hales says: “I am delighted to welcome Nick to our board. Prudential are a leading life and pensions provider in the UK and getting their support is a tremendous boost. Combined with the other top level involvement I expect us to get the faculty firmly established and making a real impact sooner rather than later.”IFAonline
