In this week's Investment Influencers video interview, profiling the most respected individuals who select funds, decide ratings or otherwise influence the allocation of investor fund flows, we chat to Jason Broomer of Square Mile Investment Consulting & Research.
Broomer is the firm's head of investment, in which role he is responsible for Square Mile's managed portfolio service as well as contributing to and supporting the research team. He is also a member of the executive management team, which provides input into the strategy and direction of the business.
Broomer, who has extensive experience in fund research and running portfolios for private clients, started his financial services career in 1995 at Bentley Reid.
Between 2008 and 2013, he worked at Butterfield Private Bank, where he headed up the London-based fund research team and was also a senior member of the asset allocation committee. Broomer holds the ASIP qualification and is an Associate of the CFA Society of the UK.
