Wednesday was a busy day for Credit Suisse as the firm announced it will launch a brace of multi-asset fund of funds portfolios this summer and unveiled Aidan Kearney as joint head of its multi-manager arm.
Graham Duce, new head of the firm’s multi-manager business, revealed the plans to Professional Adviser as he announced Kearney, former head of Artemis’s fund of funds business, would be joint boss of the £1.3bn operation. Kearney has been hired to help plug the hole left by the departure of three quarters of Credit Suisse’s key multi-manager staff earlier this month. Duce moved over from Credit Suisse private bank two weeks’ ago following the shock departures of Gary Potter, Robert Burdett and Kelly Prior. Potter and Burdett are to join Thames River Capital.
