Niznik joins Artemis

ARTEMIS Investment Management has bolstered the ranks of its UK smaller companies fund management team by confirming the appointment of former Standard Life Investments (SLI) fund manager Mark Niznik.

Niznik is to join the Artemis multi-cap team later in the year after announcing his resignation from SLI where he was lead manager of the £407m SLI UK Opportunities fund. In his new role, Niznik will be working closely with two of the firm’s founding partners, John Dodd and Derek Stuart, with his primary responsibility looking after smaller capitalised companies within the team.
