Vine-Lott to chair new skills academy

TISA director general Tony Vine-Lott will chair the newly created National Skills Academy for Financial Services.

Launched in May, the academy aims to deliver training and development from entry level to retraining, with employer needs at the forefront. Vine-Lott says he is delighted to take on the role. “Skills are something that I have always held to be of the highest importance and to be critical to the long term success of our industry,” he says. “In this appointment I look forward to working closely with employers, training providers and establishments, Government and the Financial Services Skills Council, to enhance and develop the knowledge-base and skills capacity of the industry to help mai...
