NFU CEO to retire

NFU Mutual CEO Ian Geden has announced he will retire at the end of the year after 40 years with the firm.

After conducting a nationwide search to replace Geden, who has been CEO for six years, Lindsay Sinclair has been recruited. His appointment will be effective from 1 August and he will work alongside Geden the end of the year. Sinclair has worked in a variety of roles during his 25 years in financial services including as CEO of ING Direct.
