The Personal Finance Society is appealing to its members for information on approaches from claims handlers pursuing endowment mis-selling cases.
Chief executive Mark Ommanney says there is often confusion about an adviser’s obligations in these cases, so the PFS is gathering information with a view to drafting a policy. In a letter to members asking for details of approaches Ommanney states: “It is of course open to any member of public to appoint someone to act on their behalf in pursuing a complaint.
