Standard Life has appointed two new senior business development managers to its workplace business.
The move follows last week's announcement that Standard Life has appointed Barry O'Dwyer as managing director of workplace. O'Dwyer came from Prudential where was deputy chief executive.
Peter Kane has joined as senior business development manager and will be responsible for developing and strengthening relationships with prospective large employer clients.
Kane has more than 30 years of experience developing employee savings and benefits strategies while working for leading pension and benefit consultancies, most recently he worked as partner and new business director at Hymans Robertson.
Standard Life has also appointed Martyn Chappell as senior business development manager reporting to Martin Trenchard, head of the partnered business development team in workplace.
Chappell has been a business consultant with Standard Life for 12 years, developing relationships with employee benefits consultants, corporate advisers and wealth managers in the City of London.
