Sesame Bankhall Group (SBG) has added Royal London to its restricted range.
The restricted panel centres on the Sesame Bankhall One platform powered by Axa Elevate, which CEO George Higginson said had recently passed £500m of assets under administration.
It also includes products from Aegon, Aviva, Friends Life, LV=, Partnership, Prudential, PruProtect and Zurich.
"We believed [last year] customer segmentation would come to the fore, and you wouldn't be able to give independent advice to all clients in every circumstance," Higginson said.
"It's become clear you have found this out yourselves as you've undertaken segmentation. There's the old style restricted advice where people immediately think of the banks. But at the other end of the spectrum we've developed a restricted proposition that isn't far away from independence."
"Royal London's participation is another example of SBG's commitment to continually improve our range of adviser propositions."
