Colin Jelley, St James's Place divisional director of private clients, has left the business.
He spent 18 months in the position, having joined in May last year to spearhead plans to broaden its service offering to meet the needs of high net worth clients.
David Lamb, managing director at St James's Place, said: "Colin joined St. James's Place to develop various initiatives to enhance the client service proposition and we are grateful to him for the work he has undertaken. With the project completed, it's a natural time for him to move on, and we wish him every success for the future."
Before joining St James's Place he was head of tax at Skandia.
