Thinc Group expands after double acquisition

Advisory group Thinc has acquired Welsh firms Chambers Morgan James and Cavendish Financial Management.

The two Cardiff-based additions boosts Thinc’s presence in the region and bring about 900 clients to the group. Thinc chief executive John Simmonds says both firms have a strong reputation in the market. “We have aggressive expansion plans for this business and these acquisitions are an important factor in helping us to achieve these aims,” he says. “I am delighted we have attracted such high quality companies and I am confident they represent a further platform for the growth of our wealth management business.” Chambers Morgan James principal Marlene Shalton says Thinc’s has a strong c...
