Knighthood for ifs School board member

Two board members from the ifs School of Finance are set to be awarded honours in the Queen's Birthday Honours list.

Professor David Melville, vice-chancellor of the University of Kent, is to be knighted for services to higher and further education. Professor Elaine Kempson, director of the Personal Finance Research Centre at the University of Bristol, is also to be honoured and will receive a CBE for services to the financial services industry.
